Assurance Senior/Supervisor - Chattanooga, TN

This position requires someone with 3 - 6 years experience working in a public accounting firm with hands-on experience conducting full audits. Competitive salary and full benefits package available.

The ideal candidate will be a CPA currently working in public accounting.  Must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In the role of Assurance Senior/Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Organize and execute audits, working closely with senior management to plan engagements.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Adapt audit approach to the changing client environment.

SUCCESS FACTORS:

• Minimum of 3-6 years experience auditing small to medium-size businesses
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• CPA certificate
• Familiarity with Accounting and Auditing standards
• Solid technical knowledge and skills with ability to plan & close an Audit.
• Proficient computer skills are essential.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact well with clients and associates
• Individual and corporate tax experience a plus
