Description

Manage individual, corporate and partnership tax compliance and consulting engagements.

Qualifications

• 5 plus years experience in public accounting.
• Licensed CPA in good standing with AICPA and respective state societies.
• Bachelors' or Masters Degree in accounting.
• Proficient with accounting and tax software appropriate to practice area.
• Outstanding relationship and interaction skills.
• Able to use research tools and provide tax advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for management of tax projects.
• Review tax projects and advise clients regarding corporate, partnership and multi-state issues.
• Communicate progress of projects, issues and resolutions to client.
• Maintain knowledge current of tax law.
• Develop, train and mentor staff.
• Monitor staff schedule and client time budgets.
• Prepare billing to clients, communicate details of fees and assist in collection efforts.
• Assist in firm recruiting efforts.
• Encouraged to participate in a civic or charitable organization.
