Joe Schuch is a Manager with the tax practice of Decosimo's Cincinnati office. He has 30 years experience providing tax and advisory services to consolidated corporations, closely held businesses and their owners. He has served clients in numerous industries, including distribution, real estate development, and new technologies start-up companies.

His specific expertise includes partnership taxation with experience in partnership formation, recapitalization and sale/liquidation issues, S Corporation taxation and taxation for high-net-worth individuals. His tax consulting experience includes comprehensive corporate, partnership and individual research and planning, review and compliance. He has represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service, as well as other state and local tax authorities. Joe also has experience with business aviation tax issues.

Prior to joining Decosimo, Joe was a Tax Manager in the Cincinnati offices of national and regional public accounting firms, Tax Director for an international software and engineering firm and Tax Analyst for an international media corporation. He also managed accounting, payroll, human resources, credit management and information systems for a distribution company in Cincinnati.

Joe is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and its tax section. He is also a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).

A graduate of Indiana University, Joe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting.
