Josh Rudd is a senior audit and assurance manager in Decosimo’s Knoxville office. Josh has more than 10 years experience in public accounting. He manages assurance engagements including audits, compilations, reviews, financial management, agreed-upon-procedures and consulting for both publicly traded and privately held companies in a variety of industries. Josh provides assurance services to manufacturing, distribution, not-for-profits, restaurants, transportation, retail and construction clients. He has also served as a partner in a family-owned restaurant where he directed operations.

Josh also provides assurance services to tax-exempt organizations. He has managed audit engagements with governmental and not-for-profit entities for more than six years. His clients, many of which require governmental audits, have included Florence Crittenton Agency, First Baptist Church Concord, Upper East Tennessee Education Cooperative and more. 

Josh’s experience also includes employee benefit plans. He regularly attends the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) conferences to remain current on new issues. Josh also is a member of the firm’s employee benefit team which meets to ensure the firm is compliant with new auditing requirements.

Josh earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas and a Masters of Accountancy degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Josh is an active member of Knoxville chapter of the Financial Executives Institute (FEI) and serves on the public relations committee. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). Josh has previously served on the Finance Committee for the Knoxville chapter of the TSCPA.
