Cindy Pectol is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a manager with Decosimo's assurance practice.She manages audits and other assurance engagements for clients across various industries, including manufacturing and distribution, service providers, wholesalers, not-for-profit organizations, HUD recipients and government entities. She has 9 years experience in public accounting as well as experience in private industry including utilities and food services.

Cindy has experience serving governmental and not-for-profit entities with assets totaling $150 million. She is able to provide recommendations regarding internal control matters while also assisting with the unique reporting and disclosure requirements that are unique to these types of entities. 

Prior to joining Decosimo, Cindy served as Manager of Franchise Finance for a leading chain of casual-dining restaurants with approximately 800 locations in the U.S. and 60 more across other countries.  As manager, she reviewed financial statements of the total franchise, provided site profitability, debt evaluations for partners, reviewed work papers and ensured accurate SEC reporting.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). She is involved with several local charities and organizations, including being an active volunteer at her children’s school. 

Cindy graduated with a Masters of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
