Arnold McGruder is an Assurance Principal with Decosimo’s Memphis office. He has extensive client experience in the areas of audit, tax and management advisory services for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.

In the for-profit arena, Arnold provides both tax and assurance serves to clients as well a type of entity and tax strategies. Arnold has also assisted clients as an independent public accountant advising them on compliance issues such as A-133 and Unrelated Business Income as well as day-to-day accounting issues. Arnold is consistently named to the Memphis Business Quarterly's Power Player listing for being a top accountant in the Memphis market.

He graduated from Arkansas State University, where he majored in Accounting and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1970. He was employed by Rhea & Ivy, CPAs following graduation from Arkansas State University.

In 1976, Arnold left public accounting to serve as the controller-treasurer of Rachels-Horton Industries, Inc., a multi-state manufacturer primarily of sheet metal. In 1989, he became the chief financial officer of Associated Products, Inc. U.S.A., a plastic injection molder located in Hot Springs, Arkansas. In 1990, Arnold became chief financial officer of Valley Products Company, Inc. and Vanguard Manufacturing Company, in Memphis, Tennessee. Valley Products Company manufactures soap and related products for the hospitality industry, and Vanguard manufactures security doors. In 1995, Arnold became treasurer and chief accounting officer of Wall Street Deli, Inc., a public company that operated a chain of 121 quick service restaurants in seventeen states. In June 1997, he joined the firm as Senior Audit Manager, and was elected a principal in the firm on January 1, 1998.

Arnold is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Memphis chapter of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). He is a graduate of the Leadership Germantown class of 2001, and was the past treasurer and president of the Leadership Germantown Alumni Association. He is a member of the Germantown Kiwanis Club and is a past member of the board of directors. Arnold is also the treasurer and a board member of the Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce. Arnold has also been the head of and involved with many committees that benefit children in the Memphis area.

Arnold is licensed as a CPA in Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi.
