Kevin McAdams is the Managing Principal of Decosimo’s Memphis office. He has over 20 years of experience in tax practice and is actively involved in the firm's tax planning, compliance and consulting practice. He joined Decosimo in 2005 to direct the tax practice of the Memphis office. Prior to joining Decosimo, he worked with other regional and local accounting firms in the Memphis area.

Kevin practices in the area of federal and state taxation of individual, partnership, corporate, and consolidated tax returns, in addition to tax planning and tax consultation. Areas in which he has particular experience are closely-held businesses, pass-though entities, state taxation, investment partnerships and real estate entities.

Kevin has assisted family owned manufacturer and distribution entities with both international and multi-state operations. He has provided industry specific services in the areas of revenue recognition, inventory capitalization, entity structure and transaction planning.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Memphis Chapter of Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).

Kevin has served on the TSCPA Federal Tax Committee, and Federal Tax Conference Committee. He is also Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of College Bound, a local non-profit organization. He is an active member of East Memphis Rotary club and of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Memphis, and is a certified public accountant in the state of Tennessee.
