Elena Harrill is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a manager with Decosimo’s assurance practice. She practices in the area of financial statement audits with an emphasis in investment companies.

Elena has broad experience in auditing financial statements of investment companies with diverse investment strategies, including venture capital, private investments, debt and collateralized mortgage obligations. Currently, she is providing accounting, consulting and auditing servicesto her investment partnership clients. Elena has obtained certification in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to enhance her expertise in the international market. 

Well versed with accounting and financial reporting of investment companies, Elena assists clients with financial reporting and disclosure requirements, as well as implementation of new accounting standards. She advises her clients on complex accounting transactions and assists them in developing accounting systems designed to meet their reporting objectives. Her ability to maintain current knowledge of financial reporting requirements, as well as deep understanding of client business and various reporting needs, is an invaluable asset to the clients she serves. 

Elena is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). Elena graduated with a masters degree in accounting and auditing from Odessa State Agrarian University, Ukraine. She also completed additional post-graduate work at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
