Tax Principal
 Jack Segers specializes in corporate and individual tax practice, estate planning, succession planning, and general business taxation. Mr. Segers has been with Joseph Decosimo & Company since 1979, primarily in the tax department. Previously, Mr. Segers served as an agent for the Internal Revenue Service.
Mr. Segers is a member of the TSCPA, is a former board member of the Estate Planning Council, and is a member of the Chattanooga Tax Practitioners.
Jack Segers has served in numerous clerical and ecclesiastical positions at his Southern Baptist church, including serving as chairman of finance. He had a major role in the foundation of the Chattanooga R.E.A.D. Foundation and has served as its treasurer. Mr. Segers was the former president of the Expressway Optimists' Club.
Jack completed his bachelor's degree at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and is a certified public accountant in the state of Tennessee.
