 Shannon Farr is a licensed certified public accountant with 15 years of accounting experience, including an array of business valuation and litigation support experience.
Shannon’s valuation experience has been utilized in divorce property settlements, sale and purchase transactions, federal gift tax determinations, shareholder settlements and minority interest buy-outs. Her litigation support experience includes providing expert witness testimony, as well as serving the court as Special Master. In this role, she currently supervises entities falling under court order and reports to the court on the activities of the entities.
Before moving to Chattanooga, Shannon was an Audit Partner with a public accounting firm in Birmingham, Alabama. She provided audit, tax and consulting services to clients in numerous industries including healthcare, government, nonprofit, construction and fabrication, manufacturing and insurance. She also performed due diligence and assisted clients with mergers and acquisitions.
Shannon graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee. She is a member with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of CPAs. Her civic involvement includes board positions with Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church.
