John DeMoss heads up the division of Decosimo that focuses on providing accounting and bookkeeping services to area businesses and non-profit organizations.

John began his accounting career twenty years ago with Decosimo, then served as controller for two of Decosimo’s clients. In 1995, John began providing accounting and bookkeeping services to area businesses and non-profit organizations. In 2004, John teamed up with Decosimo to form Decosimo Accounting and Bookkeeping Services, LLC, d/b/a DeMoss Accounting, where he serves as president.

DeMoss Accounting provides professional quality accounting and bookkeeping services, including monthly compiled financial statements according to generally accepted accounting principles, budgeting, bill pay, payroll processing and payroll tax reporting, bank reconciliation, fixed asset accounting and family office services.

A certified public accountant, John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). He serves on the president’s advisory committee of Tennessee Temple University and is the treasurer and a trustee of New City Fellowship Presbyterian Church.

John earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
