Kevin Begley has more than 35 years of experience in public accounting and corporate tax consulting. He joined Decosimo’s Cincinnati office in April 2007 to assist the corporate tax practice with special tax projects and business development.
During his career, Kevin was the lead tax partner on the largest department store company for 14 years, the world's largest restaurant company (in terms of system units) for 8 years, and was engaged for multiple tax consulting projects by one of the largest grocery retailers (over $82 billion in sales).
Additionally, Kevin worked with numerous public and private companies in the retailing and distribution industries providing tax advice pertaining to inventory, accounting methods, fixed asset optimization, leasing, international, and state and local issues.
Kevin has previously published articles appearing in "Taxes-The Tax Magazine" and “The Tax Advisor."
Kevin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). His civic service has included serving on the board of directors and golf committee for Junior Achievement of Greater Cincinnati, the finance committee of All Saints Parish as past chairman and the board of directors, as well as the audit and golf committees of the Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Kevin graduated cum laude from Boston College with degrees in Economics and Psychology and then attended the Sloan Graduate School of Business at New York University for concentrated studies in accounting and tax.
