Decosimo Names Chris Flaig as Principal

CINCINNATI, OHIO (January 19, 2010)–Christopher Flaig, CPA, has been named Principal with the Cincinnati office of Joseph Decosimo and Company, a regional public accounting and business advisory firm.

Mr. Flaig has more than a decade of experience in assurance and accounting. He has specific experience serving clients in the governmental, not-for-profit, retail, professional services, construction, and real estate industries. While serving as a council member for the City of Hamilton, Ohio, Mr. Flaig served as the chair of the City’s Financial Advisory Committee. He is also a former member of the Executive Committee of the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments.

Mr. Flaig is a current member of the Butler County Planning Commission. He is also a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and serves on the association’s board of directors. His other professional affiliations include the Ohio and National Chapters of the Government Finance Officers Association, as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Flaig earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance and his MBA from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
